Hope you have a wonderful and safe trip. Perhaps there will be exciting news awaiting you when you return home! :)
I am praying for you two... you guys are amazing and I am so encouraged by the GOOD work that you are doing with EXCELLENCE!!!
V & A,
In light of your current calling and works, I thought you might appreciate the wisdom of an old dead guy from years gone past (he was actually quite young when he went onto Glory)...and know that I'm praying not only for the planters and waterers...but for a HEAVENLY HARVEST from the ONLY ONE Who is able to bring It!:
Your life preaches all the week! (Robert Murray McCheyne 1813-1843)
A man is what he is on his knees before
God--and nothing more! In great measure,
according to the purity of the instrument,
will be success. It is not great talents which
God blesses--so much as great likeness to
Jesus! A holy minister is a powerful weapon
in the hand of God!
Study universal holiness of life. Your whole
usefulness depends on this; for your sermons
last but an hour or two--but your life preaches
all the week! If Satan can only make a minister
covetous; or a lover of praise, or of pleasure, or
of fine eating--he has ruined your ministry!
"Lord, make me as holy as a pardoned sinner can be!"
