Most of you know, we are involved with sponsorship programs in Ethiopia (via Children's HopeChest and Compassion Int'l).
The two organizations that we help support through HopeChest are Kind Hearts and CFI.
The purpose of these facilities is to provide a safe-haven for children who have lost one or both parents, or who are living with extremely destitute family members. These children receive food, clothing, and education, and a chance to hear the Gospel of Jesus. Both of these facilities are still in need of sponsors and financial donations to help improve their ministries (ie- water wells, school supplies, clothing...).
