For all your prayers, encouragements, and celebration as we draw nearer to bringing Micah home!
Micah is a Hebrew name, meaning "Who is like Yhwh?", or,
"Who is like God?"
Micah was a prophet in the Old Testament who loved God and spoke out against social injustice. Though Micah was grieved over the indifference of God's people, he ultimately found comfort in God's covenant, which promises to lead His people to future glory...not because of who we are or what we have done, but because of who God is and what He does!
He has told you, O man, what is good;
and what does the LORD require of you
but to do justice, and to love kindness,
and to walk humbly with your God?
and what does the LORD require of you
but to do justice, and to love kindness,
and to walk humbly with your God?
Micah 6:8
Who is a God like you, pardoning iniquity
and passing over transgression
for the remnant of his inheritance?
He does not retain his anger forever,
because he delights in steadfast love.
and passing over transgression
for the remnant of his inheritance?
He does not retain his anger forever,
because he delights in steadfast love.
Micah 7:18-19
To our Micah: may you always have a genuine concern for the oppressed, and, always delight in your Heavenly Father's love and purpose for your life!

Here's another verse I've prayed:
Micah 7:7 (The Message)
But me, I'm not giving up.
I'm sticking around to see what God will do.
I'm waiting for God to make things right.
I'm counting on God to listen to me.
Isn't it great to see what God has done! ...gives you the desire to "stick around" and see what other incredible things He has in store!
Hey Alisa,
We are so very excited for you guys!
Micah is adorable! We'll be praying for you as you complete this journey and bring home your precious baby boy.
Blessings,
Brittnie
Do you happen to have any room to bring our baby girl a small care package? Maybe a plastic lunch bag size?
