Your prayers have not been in vain!!!!

Take heart, dear friends & family!!!!

We did not 'completely' pass court today. HOWEVER, God has honored your prayers!!! Some miraculous things did happen for us in court , but there is some additional paperwork that the judge has requested. Our next appearance will be Monday, Feb. 16th. This is a miracle in itself because the courts are backed-up till early April!!

Although our heart's desire is to bring our son home as soon as possible, we trust God's timing!!! Please continue to pray with us -- I know many of you have been praying fervently, and are probably a little weary (I know we are) -- but let us continue to fight the good fight!!!

Congratulations to the Blacks, Chans & Renos!!!!!! (families that did pass court)

from Romans chapter 8:
28 And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.29 For those whom he foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, in order that he might be the firstborn among many brothers.30 And those whom he predestined he also called, and those whom he called he also justified, and those whom he justified he also glorified.31 What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?32 He who did not spare his own Son but gave him up for us all, how will he not also with him graciously give us all things?33 Who shall bring any charge against God’s elect? It is God who justifies.34 Who is to condemn? Christ Jesus is the one who died––more than that, who was raised––who is at the right hand of God, who indeed is interceding for us.35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or danger, or sword?36 As it is written, “For your sake we are being killed all the day long; we are regarded as sheep to be slaughtered.”37 No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.38 For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers,39 nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.

We are praising the Lord with you that you are miraculously going back to court on Feb 16th! There are SO many details of bringing each of these children home that is a miracle, and this is certainly one of them. And so we give praise where it is due! God WILL show himself faithful to you as you wait these extra days. I know you long in your hearts to hold your babe. Those feelings are straight from the Lord, because He longs for these children to be home too. We'll keep praying him home!

Blessings - Sherry

Martins...we are so sorry that you did not pass court today, but rejoicing in your precious spirit. God loves your son so much & has His special plans already in motion. Its a miracle that you received such a quick re-do!! You know we also went thru that & its such a difficult challenge. We will continue to pray!!
(Acts 27:25) Lord God, help me to keep up my courage & have faith in You that things will happen just as You said!!

Alisa, let me tell you something- your faith has been a rock for me to hold onto in my own journey. God has been glorified in you already and I have no doubt whatsoever that His name will continue to be blessed throughout the rest of your journey and through your household in the future. I mean that with all sincerity. We are praying for little Marting to be at home with his Mom and Dad very very soon!!
